NOTE: These instructions are only for ShowMojo customers (property managers and owners) and their staff. ShowMojo automatically handles all aspects of access code distribution for prospective renters.
There are multiple ways to open the CodeBox key compartment without scheduling a showing. Here are the three most common approaches.
Use the Agent Code
This works for all CodeBoxes sold through June 2018. Codeboxes with serial numbers below 10,010,000 and CodeBox Juniors will serial numbers 20,009,000. The feature is not supported on newer CodeBoxes.
Use the agent code to access the CodeBox and press “3”.
Use the Vendor Code
If the "5" button on the CodeBox has the text "VENDOR" (and not "SELLER") then the CodeBox key compartment can be accessed using the five-digit vendor code.
Use the ShowMojo Mobile Website
As explained in the Request CodeBox Access Codes from the ShowMojo Mobile Website article.
Use a Code Retrieved from the CodeBox Report
- When logged into ShowMojo, go to the CodeBox Report.
- Find the correct serial number and click "get a code".
- Enter the four digit code into the CodeBox and press Enter.
Use a Code Retrieved from Text-to-Access
This step requires setup, but text-to-access can be very convenient for vendors and any staff members on the go. You can review the Text-to-Access article and configure the feature on the Digital Access Settings page.
