Mobile Carriers Randomly Block Text Messages

On December 2018, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) classified text messages as an information service (Title I) and not a telecom service (Title II).

This inexplicable decision allows wireless carriers the ability to:

  1. Choose to not transmit text messages whenever they see fit.
  2. Charge for text messages they do not transmit.
  3. Not provide any report on their failure to transmit a text message.

In response to this decision -- and the subsequent "liberties" taken by the telecommunications companies it benefited -- ShowMojo has invested considerably to ensure that essential messages are transmitted to and received by prospects. This includes auto-detection of failed messages, auto-resends of text messages via other means, and duplicate messaging via email.
