ShowMojo PHONE Custom Recorded Greeting not Working Consistently

The ShowMojo PHONE custom recorded greeting can be uploaded and reviewed on the Phone Settings page.

Whenever uploading a new greeting you should always test it with a call to your ShowMojo PHONE number.

On very rare occasion, an uploaded file may work in one place but not the other -- either via playback on the General Settings page or playback via a call to ShowMojo PHONE.

The only confirmed cause of this issue is an invalid .mp3 audio file. Audio files could be made invalid one of two ways:

  1. An improperly functioning audio converter application (possible with a free application).
  2. A manually-altered filename extension (such as .mva to .mp3) that will result in ShowMojo uploading the file but the recording, itself, behaving incorrectly.

When encountering one of these issues, the solution is to obtain and upload a correctly-recorded or correctly-converted .mp3 file.
