Flagged Craigslist Listings

If you are having flagging issues, this is the article for you.

Craigslist uses a lot of questionable methods to try to determine who might be abusing their system. These include:

• Too much use of html (the little that Craigslist still permits).
• Creating too many posts at once.
• Creating posts that look too similar.
• Using the same url too often.
• Personally-identifiable characteristics of the poster (such as geographic location based on ip address).

There are most certainly other triggers as well. But these seem to be the most common and well-known.
