To Open the Shackle

Follow these steps:

1. Enter your five digit shackle code and press Enter.
2. Push down and then pull up on the shackle to release.

Troubleshooting a Shackle That Won't Open

If you are entering your five digit shackle code and are not receiving an error message, please try the following:

1. Enter your five digit shackle code and press Enter.
2. Sometimes the shackle can get a little stuck. If the shackle does not immediately release, put one palm on the top of the shackle and one palm on the bottom of the box and press firmly together, then try to pull on the shackle for it to release.
3. If this resolves the issue, please open your Shackle a a few more times to loosen this up.

If you are entering your five digit shackle code and receiving an error message, this likely indicates that an incorrect five digit shackle number is being entered.

1. Use the Agent Code to Access the CodeBox and press "7".
2. Verify the five digit Shackle code displayed on the screen is the code you have been trying to use. If not, change the shackle code to what it should be and press Enter.
