Change the Access Window on a CodeBox

The access window determines when the CodeBox will allow access via the trackable four-digit codes.

For normal usage, ShowMojo recommend against changing the access window on a CodeBox, unless you are experiencing an issues relates to that CodeBox's access window.

CodeBoxes purchased from ShowMojo have always been pre-programmed to allow access at least between 8:00am – 8:00pm local time. CodeBoxes ordered from ShowMojo since May 2016 have been pre-programmed to allow access from midnight to 11pm (only 11pm to midnight is not allowed). This is to reduce many avoidable access issues.

Confirm Date and Time before Changing the Access Window

If you are troubleshooting a "No Showing Now!" message on the CodeBox, it is quite possible that the access window is correct, but the date or time on the CodeBox is incorrect. So be sure to Check the Date and Time of a CodeBox before doing anything else.

If you do need to Correct the Date and Time on the CodeBox then most likely you have addressed your "No Showing Now!" problem.

To Change a CodeBox Access Window

If you do have a specific need, here are the steps to adjust the access window:

  1. Use the agent code to access the CodeBox and press "6".
  2. Enter the time of day that access (prospect or vendor using a four digit code) should start.
  3. Enter the time when access is no longer permitted.

If you reduce your access window to less than 8:00am – 8:00pm, you will need to make sure that either:

  1. You have reduced the standard showing windows for shelf-showings -- this can be done on the Schedule Settings page in the Self-Show Scheduling section, or
  2. Your lockbox listings are assigned to a calendar in ShowMojo that mirrors the access window you have set on the CodeBox.
