Restrict Listings to One Showtime or Show Window Per Day

Many showing agents prefer to show each listing only once a day, but they are flexible about the specific time, allowing the first prospect who schedules a showing for that day to set the time.

ShowMojo facilitates this scheduling behavior for both group and clustered individual showings.

To Configure Group Showings at a Listing Once Per Day

Go to the Calendar page and be sure to select the calendar you wish to configure (if you have more than one).

In the Options section, update the settings:

  1. To schedule showings at "only one listing for each showtime".
  2. To "restrict each listing to one showtime per day".
  3. To whatever maximum number of prospects you will allow at each showtime.

Now, on any day where a showing has yet not be scheduled for a specific listing, all available showtimes will be offered to each prospect. On any day where a showing has already been scheduled, only that scheduled showtime will be offered to prospects.

To Configure Clustered Individual Showings at a Listing Once Per Day

Go to the Calendar page and be sure to select the calendar you wish to configure (if you have more than one).

In the Availability section, be sure to have multiple showing windows per day.

In the Options section, update the settings:

  • To cluster your showings using Smart Show.
  • To schedule showings at "only one listing within each window".
  • To "restrict each listing to one show window per day".
  • To allow one prospect at each showtime (although you can still choose to double book if you like).

Now, on any day where a showing has yet not be scheduled for a specific listing, each prospect will see a selection of showtimes from all available show windows. On any day where a showing has already been scheduled, only showtimes adjacent to the scheduled showtime will be offered to prospects.
