Get Started with VaultLOCKS

So you just got your first set of VaultLOCKS eLockbox. The VaultLOCKS eLockbox is designed for use within North American timezones (from Puerto Rico to Hawaii) and may not fully function at all times outside of those time zones. This article will give you everything you need to get up and running.

1. Make Sure You Understand the Paradigm

ShowMojo and lockboxes will work differently than any other systems, process or service that you have used in the past.

When everything is configured correctly there will be no phone calls to answer, no emails to respond to, and no codes to manually pull and give to prospects. ShowMojo automates all of this. The only manual activity you need to consider is the timely approval of documents if you choose to use Document Verification.

To have a smooth setup experience the most important things to do are:

  1. Make sure your VaultLOCKS are functioning correctly and assigned to and hung on the correct listings. Remember, do not place your only key in the box.
  2. Review and understand the ShowMojo settings for VaultLOCKS, so you know you have configured a setup that works for you.

Taking your time now makes it much less likely you will find yourself standing in front of a listing troubleshooting an issue.

2. Test and Get Comfortable with VaultLOCKS

Your VaultLOCKS arrive door-hang-ready. Nonetheless, it is always best to Complete a VaultLOCKS System and Hardware Test before putting a VaultLOCKS into service. This will also familiarize you with the basic workings of the VaultLOCK.

3. Review and Configure How to Use ShowMojo with VaultLOCKS.

First, you will want to learn how to Add a Lockbox to a Listing for Prospect Self Showings.

If all the options for lockboxes are not obvious to you, you can consult the Options Available for Prospect Self Showings and Digital Access Devices article to get a more in-depth explanation of each.

Next, you might consider Configuring Lockbox Defaults for All New Listings just so you don't need to update so many configurations on each new listing.

For vendors, you should use Text-to-Access.

Then, if you are using Multi-User or Lead Claim, you'll want to review and potentially update your Digital Access Device Showing Assignment Behavior setting.

Finally, if security is your paramount concern for self-showings, you might configure Extra Security and Notification When a Prospect Accesses a Digital Lockbox.

NOTE: The VaultLOCKS eLockbox is designed for use within North American timezones (from Puerto Rico to Hawaii) and may not fully function at all times outside of those time zones.
