Options for a CodeBox When a CodeBox Is Out of Access Codes for a Given Day

CodeBoxes do have a limited number of individual four-digit access codes per day -- at least 13. It is uncommon, but the access codes can all be "used" for one reason or another.  Please note that the limit on access codes is related to the number of access codes pulled for the specific CodeBox. It is for all access codes pulled, whether for a showing or for team member.

If you encounter this issue, and require a four-digit access code for a specific day, your best option is to:

  1. Go to the Digital Access Report.
  2. Search for the specific address (or serial number) and date (obviously be sure you have this information correct in the filter).
  3. Look for access codes that were pulled by you or your team members that were not used. (You'll need to know whether or not they were used. ShowMojo cannot help you with this.) If you find one of these access codes, then you have what you need and you are done.
  4. Only if you have not already found a usable access code, look for access codes that have not been distributed.
  5. Check the showings related to undistributed codes to confirm they were canceled or already should have occurred. Once you find an undistributed access code for a canceled (or otherwise unattended) showing, then you have found what you need.

Additionally, be aware that CodeBoxes that have run on out access codes for a given day cannot be added to a listing. This is a safety mechanism to avoid the likelihood of scheduled showings for which no access codes can be obtained.
