Schedule, Communicate and Distribute Access Codes for Short-Term Rentals

Feature Overview

ShowMojo's short-term rental feature set:

  • Lets you enter and manage guest stays.
  • Automatically communicates with each guest by both email and text before, during and after the stay.
  • Is templatized so you control the communication.
  • Distributes access codes when you have a MojoLock or MojoBox on the door.

The short-term rentals feature contains twelve email and text message templates. This includes mid-stay and post-stay messaging. Not only can you control the message in each template, but you can individually enable and disable most templates. You can make your short-term rentals experience decidedly your own.

Rentals are scheduled with a guest name, email and phone -- based on a start and end date. Scheduled rentals can be canceled at any time.

Get Started

To use this feature, you'll need the short-term rental represented as a listing in ShowMojo. Additionally, there needs to be a MojoLock or MojoBox device on the listing. The listing, itself, can be on or off market.

To enable the short-term rentals feature:

  1. Go to the Short-Term Rentals Settings page.
  2. Locate the Guest Messaging section and click Edit.
  3. Enable Short-Term Rentals Messaging and Access Code Distribution toggle.
  4. Review and update the Guest Communication templates.

To schedule your first short-term rental activity:

  1. On the ShowMojo Dashboard go to Short-Term Guests page in your dashboard.
  2. Click New Short-Term Rental and enter your guest's information.
