ShowMojo has options available to automate all, or nearly all, of your document review process. How much to automate, ultimately, is a decision for you and your team. This is generally a trade off between convenience and high levels of security.
Stick with Automated Identity Document Verification
It is critical to understand whether you are using:
- Automated identity document verification (the default on your account), or
- Fully-manual review (needed for non-identity-document review).
When automated identity document verification is disabled, if you choose an option with no computer nor human review then there really is absolutely no review. You are allowing prospects to send a picture of their foot (or anything else) and that will be approved.
Even with automated document identification in place, we do not yet recommend completely automated approval. Though this feature does exist because of customer requests.
At this time (unless you need very strong manual safeguards) we propose that you have ShowMojo send those scanned documents that do not pass automated validation to your team for manual review.
Enable Auto-Approve
This setting is available on the Showing Qualification Settings page in one of two places.
-
When document verification is enabled on the listing as part of the self-showing process, this is controlled by a setting in the Identity Verification section.
- When document verification has been added as a question to one or more pre-showing questionnaires, this is controlled by a setting in the Pre-Showing Questionnaire section.
Then, whenever a document is auto-approved, the agent (or account owner) assigned to the showing will receive a simple email notification.
You might also review the Options and Timeline for Approval of Submitted Documents if you want to direct reviews to a specific individual or default auto-approve when someone cannot get to a review in time.
Disabling Auto-Approve
To fully disable auto-approve on your entire account:
- Go to the Pre-Showing Questionnaire section on the Showing Qualification page.
- In each questionnaire, check for a document screening question.
- To disable auto-approve for the individual screening question, update the option on the screening question itself to email for verification and approval.
- Go to the Identity Verification section on the Showing Qualification page.
- Disable the auto-approve option.
With auto-approve disabled, we recommend you confirm the individual to whom documents will be sent for verification. These settings are located in the Identity Verification section of the Showing Qualification page.
