At present, we are only aware of three reasons why a prospect might be having difficulty accessing a VaultLOCKS eLockbox. These are:
- The prospect is at the listing at the wrong time. Access codes for eLockboxes work only for a given hour of the day (with some slack on either side). If the prospect is more than 30 minutes early or late for the showing, then most likely the prospect cannot access the eLockbox because the access code is not valid for the specific time they are trying to enter it.
- The battery on the eLockbox has run out. The best indicator of this is when there is no audible or visible response from the box when the keypad is pressed.
- The wrong eLockbox is on the house. Unfortunately we do know this happens sometimes. So it is the final thing to check. Is the serial number of the eLoxkbox hanging on the door the same as the serial number on the listing in ShowMojo?
